Conférencière : Yakeel Quiroz Ph. D. Associate Professor Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

Dr. Quiroz  is the principal investigator of the Colombia-Boston (COLBOS) longitudinal biomarker study of autosomal-dominant Alzheimer’s disease, which follows individuals from the world’s largest extended family with a single, AD-causing mutation (E280A in Presenilin1).  She will discuss her longitudinal research with Colombian families with autosomal dominant Alzheimer’s disease and how it has led her to the discovery of biomarkers and new therapeutic avenues.
