Promoting health and integrated care system for older adults: Thai experiences

Almost 10 years that WHO has launched the global strategy and plan on aging and health, this necessitates for major reforms to focus on optimizing older people’s physical and mental capacities over the life course. Several health and social services are reorganized by integration of health, emergency care and long-term care systems approach.

This talk will share and discuss about the existing services, models including interventions or strategies used in integrated health system for older adults conducted in Thailand. Some models which purposed and implemented following key elements of WHO’s approach and evidence based in practice through our research and development project will be addressed.
