September 30, 2024 | 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (Eastern Time)

The webinar series will explore key issues in cognitive training with the goal of identifying research gaps and opportunities to advance the field. For the series, cognitive training will be defined as interventions using cognitive tasks, games, and/or cognitively demanding activities with the goal to enhance specific cognitive function, general cognitive ability, and/or functioning in the real world (Green et al., 2019; Sala & Gobet, 2017, 2019). Webinar 2 will focus on underlying mechanisms and address key questions: Does cognitive training generalize (i.e., transfer)? How? Which functions mediate transfer (i.e., mechanisms)?
