Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer que le concours 2023 du Prix de la science ouverte de la Fondation Neuro-Irv et Helga Cooper a été lancé le 1er août !
Chaque année, les prix attribuent un total de 100 000 dollars canadiens en fonds de recherche et de soutien salarial, ce qui fait du prix international (principal) l’un des plus grands prix de science ouverte au monde avec 55 000 dollars en fonds de recherche sans restriction et 25 000 dollars en soutien salarial.
Les prix pour les stagiaires sont également généreux : 10 000 dollars pour le prix international (principal) pour les stagiaires (qui inclut également les candidats travaillant dans des instituts canadiens) ; 5 000 dollars pour le prix canadien pour les stagiaires (qui va au stagiaire le mieux classé travaillant dans un institut canadien, après le prix international pour les stagiaires) ; et 1 000 dollars pour les finalistes.
Cette année, la Fondation Neuro-Irv et Helga Cooper espére toucher un public plus large en diffusant les détails du concours au sein de ses réseaux immédiats et au-delà. En plus de la page web des prix, elle a compilé un manuel du candidat (joint en FR et EN) pour encourager les candidats potentiels à s’inscrire et, s’ils le souhaitent, à partager les informations via différents médias (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).

We are thrilled to announce the 2023 Neuro–Irv and Helga Cooper Foundation Open Science Prize competition launched on August 1st!
Every year these Prizes award a total of $100,000 CAD in research and salary-support funds, making the International (Main) Prize one of the biggest Open Science awards in the world at $55K in unrestricted research funds and $25K in salary support.
The Trainee Prizes are also generous at 10K for the International (Main) Trainee Prize (which also includes applicants working at Canadian institutes); 5k for the Canadian Trainee Prize (which goes to the highest-ranking Trainee working at a Canadian Institution, after the International Trainee Prize); and 1K for runners-up.
This year the foundation hopes to reach a wider audience by sharing the competition details within her own immediate networks and beyond. In addition to the Prizes webpage, the foundation has compiled an Applicant Handbook (attached in FR and EN) to encourage potential applicants to apply, and if inclined, share through various media (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
