Brain Health PRO is a free online program for adults aged 50 and over who want to improve and protect their brain health through small, lasting changes to their daily habits. Small changes today can contribute to better brain health tomorrow.
This program is a national initiative led by Canadian researchers and experts to promote brain health and help prevent dementia.
Grounded in solid scientific evidence, it offers simple, proven strategies to support healthy aging by acting on seven modifiable risk factors:
Physical activity
Nutrition
Sleep
Vision and hearing
Cognitive engagement
Social and psychological health
Vascular health
Entirely online and self-guided, the program includes short animated videos, interactive activities and personalized recommendations. You move forward at your own pace, spending about 40 minutes per week over six months.
Brain Health PRO is offered at the IUGM Cognition Clinic, one of 12 Canadian sites taking part in its rollout. The program is offered to you free of charge as part of a study aimed at better understanding how it is used across different care settings.
