Theme 3 – Interventions and Sustainable Health is dedicated to the development, evaluation, and implementation of innovative interventions that support the sustainable health of older adults. This approach takes into account the physical, cognitive, mental, and social dimensions of aging, with the goal of promoting solutions that foster overall and lasting well-being.

Key Objectives

  • Support sustainable health : Develop integrated and personalized interventions that consider the needs, preferences, and living conditions of older adults to help maintain long-term quality of life.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and implementation : Scientifically assess the impact of interventions in real-world contexts and promote their adoption in clinical and community settings.
  • Promote an interdisciplinary approach : Bring together diverse expertise to design comprehensive and inclusive strategies that address the complex challenges of aging.
  • Enhance autonomy and well-being : Incorporate practices that support the active participation of older adults in their own health, while respecting their values and choices.
