Inventory of technologies to support aging in place

Developed by Nathalie Bier and Patricia Belchior, laboratory directors at the CRIUGM, respectively full professor at École de réadaptation at Université de Montréal and associate professor at McGill University School of Physical & Occupational Therapy, with the support of a research team, this inventory presents a rich selection of technologies that can support aging in place. From medication management to communication aids and assistance with daily activities, the researchers designed it in light of the needs reported by professionals working in the field.

This tool is non-exhaustive and evolving. It is not intended as a recommendation. It brings together a set of technologies in effective benchmarks to better navigate this complex market. This unprecedented insight into the possibilities offered by the technological world can ultimately help improve the quality of life of seniors while supporting the practice of clinicians.

But who better to tell you about it than the research team itself? Click here to discover a series of short video clips. (Subtitles available in English)
