At the age of 21, Jenny Lee-Gilmore was diagnosed with narcolepsy. A filmmaker by profession, she explores what it’s like to live with a poorly understood and often misdiagnosed neurological disorder in her documentary Little Miss Sleepy, with the aim of raising public awareness.
In particular, she participated in a research project on narcolepsy and hypersomnolence at the Sleep, Cognition and Neuroimaging Laboratory (SCNLab) directed by Dr Thanh Dang Vu at CRIUGM, who gives an interview on the subject in the film.
