Research interests

Gary Libben’s research addressed the question of how structurally complex words are represented and processed in the mind. He conducted psycholinguistic laboratory investigations on how words were processed across languages, how they were represented in the minds of bilinguals, and how their processing could be impaired as a result of brain damage. His research projects also included the study of psycholinguistic aspects of writing and lexical processing in interpersonal contexts.
