After completing my doctoral studies in 1988 at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Brenda Milner, I accepted an academic position as assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Laval University. I then joined as professor the Department of Psychology and the Research Center at the Geriatric Institute, University of Montreal, in July 2000. At present, I am the Scientific director of the Functional Neuroimaging Unit.
Contribution of the cortico-striatal, cortico-cerebellar systems and sleep to motor skill learning, consolidation and automatisation as revealed by neuroimaging (fMRI, PET, TMS) and new methods of imaging analysis (i.e. functional and effective connectivity) among healthy volunteers.
