Martine Lagacé holds a PhD and an udergraduate degree in psychology, as well as an undergraduate degree in communication and a year certificate in gerontology. She currently is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa.
Martine Lagacé has extensive research interests in intergenerational communication, ageism, identity and intergroup relations. Her past and previous studies have focused on understanding the impact of ageist stereotypes and discrimnation on the self-esteem and wellbeing of seniors and aging workers.
