Biography

Mohamad Forouzanfar is an associate professor at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), Université du Québe, Montréal. He is working on several studies aimed at better measuring, analyzing and interpreting physiological data by developing advanced instrumentation, signal and image processing, and machine learning methods.

Prior to joining ÉTS, he worked as a research scientist at the Human Sleep Research Lab at SRI International in Menlo Park, California. From 2014 to 2017, he held postdoctoral positions at Stanford University, Harvard University, and the University of Ottawa. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa in 2014.

Dr. Forouzanfar is a senior member of IEEE and an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
