Bernadette Ska obtained a Ph.D. (cognitive psychology) from the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and a specialization in neuropsychology at the centre de recherche de l’institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal. She is now professeur at the faculty of medicine (department of Speech and language pathology), université de Montréal.
Bernadette Ska is interested by the effects of aging on cognition and by the neuropsychology in dementia. She also is interested by the effects of cerebral lesions on semantic and pragmatic aspects of verbal and non verbal communication.
