Biography

Dr. Alexander Moreno is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist / Psychologist. He holds a master’s degree in health psychology from the National University of Colombia and a doctoral degree in cognitive sciences and neuropsychology from the University of Montreal. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University. Dr. Moreno is an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology at Université de Montréal and Director of the Innovation Technology and Cognition Laboratory (INTECOG).

Research interests

The use of technology applied to cognitive rehabilitation (e.g., virtual reality, social robotics), the use of electronic home assistants to support seniors’ independence at home, the use of technology to break seniors’ isolation, and LGBTQ aging.
